Lark Workshop

A real agenda, built for HR & Finance teams

This is what a hands-on, in-house Lark workshop with us actually looks like — not a slide deck. Teams leave having designed and built a real working system, not just watched a demo. Every session is re-scoped around your team's tools and day-to-day problems, but the structure below is a faithful example of how we run it.

Session Goal

Train HR & Finance teams to think process-first — identify repetitive tasks, design simple workflows, and understand how Lark and AI can make their day-to-day smarter and less manual.

Workshop Blocks

01 Inspire — What Lark Can Do 45 min
  • Welcome & context setting — why process thinking matters
  • Live showcase: common Lark use cases across HR & Finance
  • AI as the connective layer — not a feature, a mindset shift
  • Quick demo: real examples (leave tracker, expense log, ticket system)
02 Think — Process-First Framework 45 min
  • Introduce the 4 builder questions — answer these before any build:
Q1What problem am I solving? What pain or inefficiency exists today?
Q2What tasks are repetitive — and which of them can be automated?
Q3Who will use this? What information do they need, and in what format?
Q4Where does AI add value — data entry, summarising, analysing, or alerting?
  • Walk through a real HR or Finance example using all 4 questions
  • Groups form here — 1 experienced + 1–2 beginners per group (mixed HR & Finance)
  • Groups identify a real pain point from their own day-to-day work
03 Plan — Design Before You Build 30 min
  • Groups use a planning template to map their idea on paper or whiteboard
  • Draw the process flow — steps, triggers, who does what, where it ends
  • Quick 1–2 min pitch per group before building (sanity check round)
  • Facilitator reviews scope — adjust if too complex for the time available
04 Learn — Lark Base Guided Session 15 min
  • Facilitator demo: fields, views, form setup
  • One live automation: trigger → condition → action
  • Show where AI fits in — formula help, summarise, analyse
  • Just enough to unblock — not a full tutorial
05 Build — Guided Group Build 45 min
  • Groups build from blank — no templates
  • Must include: form, at least 1 chart, 1 notification automation
  • Facilitator rotates across groups — teaching as they go
  • AI features woven in as each group reaches that point
06 Present + Prize 20 min
  • Each group: 2–3 min presentation of what they built and why
  • Judging on: thinking quality, relevance, completeness
  • Prize awarded — audience vote + facilitator call
  • Closing question: "What will you use first on Monday?"
07 Open Q&A 20 min
  • Open floor — any questions on Lark, automation, or AI features
  • Trainer addresses common blockers observed during the build session
  • Reminder: 1 week of post-session Q&A access via Lark chat
  • Video guide shared after the session

Total structured time: ~3h40 · Buffer / overrun: ~20 min
